1. Who we are

Buckin' Rodeo is a digital media brand operated by the entity listed on /about. By using buckinrodeo.com ("the Site") you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 to create an account or post comments. Users under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent. Rodeo coverage that references high-school and junior athletes is limited to publicly available standings information and always age-appropriate.

3. Content ownership

Editorial content (articles, podcast scripts, original photography, original illustrations) is owned by Buckin' Rodeo or licensed to us. You may link to any article, quote it fairly, and share it on social media.

Third-party content used on the Site (Wikimedia Commons imagery, embedded social posts, syndicated photos, Go-Round standings data) remains property of the original owner. We display attribution and link-back for every third-party work we surface.

4. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break the Site. No scraping at volume, no reverse-engineering, no circumvention of paywalls or comment moderation. No posting of defamatory, hateful, spam, or illegal content. We reserve the right to remove content and accounts at our discretion.

5. Accounts & comments

Accounts are email + magic-link. We don't store passwords. Comment moderation: we remove hate, spam, threats, and off-topic self-promotion. We respect legitimate disagreement.

6. Affiliate links, sponsored content, advertising

We earn commissions on some outbound ticket and gear links. We label sponsored content clearly at the top of the piece. Full disclosure at /legal/affiliate-disclosure and /legal/advertising.

7. Shop & digital purchases

Purchases through our Shop are fulfilled via Stripe. Physical merchandise ships within stated windows. Digital goods (subscriptions) renew monthly unless cancelled. Cancellation is available at any time from the account dashboard.

8. Accuracy & corrections

We fact-check every published piece (see /about for the process). If you see an error, email corrections@buckinrodeo.com and we will update with a dated correction note within three business days.

9. Third-party data

Standings, stock rankings, and rodeo schedules are pulled from public feeds and the respective governing bodies (PRCA, WPRA, NIRA, NHSRA, CPRA, APRA, PBR Brasil, and others). Data is presented as received from the source and may contain errors. We do not warrant completeness or accuracy of third-party data.

10. Limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is." We disclaim warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Site is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Buckin' Rodeo against claims arising from your violation of these Terms or your submitted content.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Site evolves. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page for at least thirty days. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
