Some links on buckinrodeo.com are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This disclosure is required by the FTC and we take it seriously.

What this means in plain language

When we link you to a rodeo ticket, a pair of boots, a saddle, a hat, or any piece of gear, some of those links have a tracking code attached. If you click one and buy, the merchant pays us a small commission. You pay the same price either way.

Who pays us

We participate in affiliate programs with:

• Ticket marketplaces: SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, StubHub, Ticketmaster
• Boot and gear brands: Ariat, Tecovas, Boot Barn, Wrangler, Stetson, Kimes Ranch
• Affiliate networks: Impact.com, Commission Junction, AvantLink

We do not currently take payment for editorial coverage (separate from sponsored content, which is labeled — see Advertising Policy).

What we promise

• We never write favorable coverage because of an affiliate relationship. Editorial decisions are independent.
• We only recommend products we have used, tested, or verified the reputation of.
• We disclose the affiliate relationship in-line with the link (the "sponsored" tag and the "we earn a commission" footnote on ticket buttons).
• We don't stuff articles with unrelated affiliate links. If an affiliate link appears in a piece, the product is relevant to the story.

How to spot an affiliate link

All outbound affiliate links route through buckinrodeo.com/go/<slug> so you can see it's tracked. The destination merchant is shown in the link text or the disclosure line that accompanies the link.

Ticket buttons on rodeo pages carry a visible line: "We earn a commission on tickets bought through [Provider]. Pricing is set by the seller; your cost is the same."

If you'd rather not use an affiliate link

Every item we link is available directly from the merchant. Search for it on the brand's site and your experience will be the same, just without the commission going our way. We won't take it personally.
